Villa Durazzo

Wedding location in Liguria, Villa Durazzo was built in the seventeenth century by the Marquis Durazzo and has a spectacular view of the Tigullio gulf, on the majestic wooded hillside overlooking the center of Santa Margherita Ligure. On the top floor are the old noble apartments, with furniture from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and the Stuccoes hall, on the main floor there are large indoor and outdoor rooms with spectacular terraces, one covered by marquee. The wedding location is situated in a beautiful park that slopes gently down the hill, in a charming mix of exotic and Mediterranean flora. The park is nicely decorated with statues, fountains and planters, crossed by lanes paved in typical Ligurian black-and-white cobblestones, called risseu, among winding paths that lead up to the terrace in front of the villa. Next to it are the Baroque Church of San Giacomo and the Villa San Giacomo, romantic nineteenth century villa.
